A little JavaScript can go a long way

You do not need to be a C++ programmer in order to use JavaScript! Even if you do not have much programming experience, you can utilize JavaScript. With the addition of a few small lines of code, you can add dynamic features to your site.

How we can help you

Our courses are designed to show examples of functionality that you may want to add to your site immediately. You can modify the scripts that you learn in class for immediate use!

Available Courses - JavaScript

  • Introduction to Cascading Style Sheets Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) is now used in place of many HTML tags including <font>, <b> and <center>. Understanding CSS is key to creating modular sites that will exist for years to come.

  • Introduction to JavaScript teaches how JavaScript, a scripting language written inline with HTML, can build dynamic pages that immediately respond to users' actions. In this introductory class, you will learn the basics of the JavaScript language.

  • Comprehensive JavaScript teaches you to combine HTML, Cascading Style Sheets, and JavaScript to form Dynamic HTML (DHTML), which enables you to build pages with dynamic content. During class, you will create DHTML animations, build a drag-and-drop shopping cart for an online e-commerce store, and learn the JavaScript programming techniques necessary to create Dynamic HTML interactions.

  • AJAX is a fast growing use of JavaScript and XML to make "behind-the-scenes" http requests that can populate data on the page. In our class you will learn the JavaScript and CSS you need to be effective.
